So, after such a robust 2013, what can we expect for the auto industry for 2014? Most experts believe that the positive trends of 2013 should continue into the New Year.
- Auto sales that should fall between 16.3 and 16.8 million for 2014, which would be the highest level since 2006
- Greater overseas demand, especially Asia, for American products
At Ring Masters, we are cautiously optimistic about 2014. While the numbers and projections look good, there was some slowing in December, so the it will be critical to watch volume levels closely in the first half of the year. Luckily, we are prepared for any rise in volume, thanks to current structure which includes 1 ½ shifts running around the clock.
